JFC Top Priorities for Advocacy
The Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce of the Philippines (JFC) engages in advocacy to improve conditions and policies relevant for national and international business in the Philippines. Advocacy positions are discussed and agreed at the monthly meetings of the JFC Presidents and Executive Directors and require the support of at least five of the seven JFC members to be cited as a JFC position (with the dissent of any JFC member also to be noted). JFC advocacy is done at meetings with legislative and executive branches of the national government, and with representatives of provincial and LGU authorities as well as in letters, in public statements and speeches by JFC members. It is often done in support of advocacies by leading national business and/or industry associations.
